Ingredients:
- 2 cups oats
- 2 scoops protein powder (I used Cellucor peanut butter marshmallow)
- 1 cup peanut butter (I put a quarter cup of natural chocolate peanut butter with the regular to equal a cup)
- 1/2 c natural honey
- 2 tbs coconut flakes (optional)
- 1/4 c dried fruit (optional)
Directions:
Put all the dry ingredients into a bowl and mix together. A wooden spoon works great. Add the peanut butter and honey. Mix as well as you can with the spoon, but I eventually used my hands just to get everything really thoroughly mixed. After everything is mixed really well start forming small balls from the mixture. Place on a nonstick pan (preferably with parchment paper) and put in the fridge. I let mine sit over night and then placed them in a zip lock bag the next morning, but I prefer keeping them in the fridge and eating cold.
Feel free to use whatever nut butter you prefer as well as additives likes whole nuts, carob chips, chia seeds etc.
