Also, as I prepare to give birth and take time off from getting in workouts I need to get refocused on my eating.
SO that brings me to posting a "What I Ate Wednesday" post. I'm sure you've seen them on other blogs too. I'm thinking if I start sharing my food with the world I'll make an extra effort!
Now, this is what I'm eating as a 35 week preggo lady. In no way am I saying this is what YOU should be eating. Maybe it will give you some meal ideas tho and that would be cool!
Box 1 (top left)- Breakfast was 2 Van's gluten free waffles, fruit and 1 whole egg with some whites I seasoned with Mrs. Dash
Box 2 (top right)- lunch was a salad with left over rotisserie chicken (from our "fast" food night), balsamic and slivered almonds.
Box 3 (bottom left)- snack was a banana wrap and protein shake. I used a whole wheat tortilla with PB.
Box 4 (bottom right)- dinner was a NEW RECIPE! That's right peeps. I'll be sharing that one tomorrow, but for now I'll tease you with what I call it. Southwest meatballs with a spicy "sour cream" sauce and cilantro brown rice. Don't worry, there were veggies on my plate too (after the pic was taken)!
Not pictured is the fruit bar I had after dinner (remember balance!).
Let me know if you like the idea of posts of my meals and I'll keep doing it. Hopefully I'll continue to get creative in the kitchen with recipes too!
