It’s 8:20 p.m. on New Years Eve and many people are out partying and preparing for midnight. Me on the other hand, I’m already in my PJs lounging in bed with a sleeping babe in the same room. Noah is already sleeping in his room too. It’s a pretty “normal” night for us around here but that’s OK I wouldn’t change it for the world. As we prepare to head into the new year it gives me time to reflect back on 2016 and think about my goals for 2017.
This year was full of ups and downs...we found out we wouldn’t be extending our time in Italy as long as we wanted and the initial news stung a lot. I had to kind of grieve leaving Europe, but once the initial pain started to wear away I made sure to make the most of the time we had left. We traveled pretty much nonstop and created some pretty incredible memories as a family. I will never forget Noah falling down in Rome’s coliseum, seeing Big Ben in person, the waterfalls of plvitvice lakes in Croatia, all the bikes in Amsterdam (and the amount of weed. Haha), the breath taking beauty of the amalfi coast, Prague’s delicious “chimney cakes”, waddling through Barcelona, the gorgeous lake side castle in Lake Garda and everywhere in between.
We found out we were expecting our second little one and at 20 weeks found out it was girl!!
I did a fitness photoshoot with Noah, which was so much fun! I can't believe I was a few weeks pregnant here! I completed one of my goals of becoming certified personal trainer and also began teaching spin! I made it to 36 weeks teaching!
What a big year it was for our Noah! He turned two and just a week after he became a big brother! The transition was better than expected and I am so grateful for that! Those two babes are the best and Siena’s sweet cheeks just make me want to have #allthebabies :)

2016 was truly an amazing year! So many experiences we will forever remember. All the traveling and especially the birth of our sweet girl...TWO Italian babes we have now!
HELLO 2017
I don't know about you, but I love fresh starts and a new month/year to make new goals. Resolutions can sometimes be intimidating and cause you to quit before you even begin, so I make goals that I can work towards a little each day.
My goals for 2017 are to unplug more and spend more time remembering moments with my kids and not recording/taking pictures of every minute. I am so guilty of wanting to remember it all which means my phone is out way too much! I need to just "be" in the moment more!
I want to spend more time talking with my husband without phones and the TV off. I want to make fitness a priority like I always have, and get stronger in the gym. I want to make health my priority and set a good example for my babies. I want to help more people reach their goals (health, financial or both) through my Isagenix business. I want to up my game with my writing here on the blog and connect with other moms and women who relate to my posts! I want to read more books and actually finish them! haha ;)
I hope to be more patient, more kind and more loving in 2017. Here’s to being the best ME I can be and welcoming personal growth.
What are your goals for 2017? I'd love to hear! Also, what would you like to see more of here? Recipes, workouts, products I love? I hope to bring you some of everything this year!

Wow! You had a busy 2016! I love your goal to unplug more. I'm guilty of always having my phone and taking way too many photos too.
