Exciting Announcement!

I am proud to announce that I am going to be an Air Force Wife!! My wonderful and handsome hubby swore in today and will meet with his recruiter to discuss job opportunities and what date he will leave for boot camp on Tuesday. I will keep you all updated. He has worked SO hard and I am SO proud of him. He had to lose an additional 10 pounds before his recruiter would send him to MEPS. He hit a plateau about 3 weeks ago and with the help of the GISG's bikini guide (yes he's been doing it with me) and a great diet plan he lost the last 5 pounds! I am so proud of his commitment to a healthy diet and an active life style. I wouldn't want our way of life any other way.

I am super excited and ridiculously nervous about the journey we are about to embark on. I have lived in AZ my whole life so the thought of moving somewhere with more than 2 seasons (Summer and Fall) is boggling my mind! If any of you have advice for me I would love to hear it! I can't wait to bring my health and fitness journey to new places!

    Hey! Congrats! Be excited! Bootcamp is great. Letters are the best part! And being a military wife is an adventure for sure. It's hard, but worth it. In getting married in December to my Marine :) we live apart, but I couldn't be more proud of him, his accomplishments, and our freedom! Plus, the best part is all the support you get from military wives! You have me on Facebook if you need me or any advice. I'll do whatever I can :) have him ask his recruiter what you need to do while he is gone and look up the books at the library on military wives :) best of luck :) Alessa Phelps
