Now that I'm in my third trimester I wanted to share my pregnancy must haves! Most of these things I loved when I was pregnant the last time and went back to it. Two pregnancies in the Summertime calls for similar must haves! If I ever have a baby in the winter it will be interesting to see how it changes.
1. Seamless Panties
These are a must especially in the Summer time. I live in maxi skirts and dresses and no one wants to see panty lines. When you're pregnant you want things to fit as smooth as possible. I don't want to worry about my underwear cutting into me because lets get real here, sometimes you gain a little love around your hips and the seamless panties keeps everything nice and smooth. No lines, no bulge.
2. Belly Butter
This stuff is amazing! Smells incredible and goes on so smooth. I rub this all over my belly, hips and inner thighs before bed and then any left over on my hands. If it wasn't so pricey I would use it as a total body moisturizer. I have used belly creams in the past that was thick and stained my shirt like an oil. This stuff is just heaven. Worth the price too.
3. Water Bottle
Being pregnant in the Summer makes it extra crucial to get in enough water. I don't know about you but I need help tracking my water. This Camel bak bottle is perfect for that. 4 bottles is a gallon. Easy peasy.
4. Exercise Ball
This is a new must have for this pregnancy. After having Noah I learned a lot about the importance of keeping your pelvic floor and core strong postpartum. I have been using my exercise ball almost daily to practice core breathing. I want to have a strong pelvic floor during labor and be able to rehab it properly after delivery before jumping back into strenuous exercise. I encourage you to check out Bellies Inc. for more info.
5. High Waisted Exercise Pants
If you are staying active during your pregnancy then these are a must! I love them because you can fold the band down under your bump. They're so comfy and supportive. Plus you can get away with your normal size or size up since they're not maternity.
6. Maxi Dresses/Skirts
Maxi dresses and skirts are amazing for pregnancy during the Summer. So comfortable and you can usually get away with not buying maternity which saves some money. I get a size large so they'll stretch all the way through my pregnancy. I found a lot of great ones at Forever 21.
What are your pregnancy must haves? I would love to hear!
