I am savoring these last weeks before Noah is officially 1 and on his way to being a toddler. He will always be my baby tho! We are planning an awesome Dr. Seuss birthday party for him and I can't wait! I've been ordering things and planning for months since it can sometimes take a while for things to get here. Robbie's parents will be here for his birthday so it will be really fun to celebrate his special day with some family here.
I'm so thankful for the friends we have made here who will also help us celebrate Noah. Back home we could have just a family party and it would be a FULL house so it's really nice having some close friends join us for a party.
Noah is such a fast learner and seems to be doing something new everyday. Lately it's been blowing kisses (my favorite), pointing...like legit having that pointer finger out all day, saying, "uh-oh!" And usually it's before he does whatever is the "uh-oh" moment which is pretty hilarious. He's walking more and more but hasn't quite decided he'd rather do that than crawl, but he's very close!
He def understand what "no" means and I probably say it 7,698 times a day. He scrunches his nose up and gives the funniest look when he knows he's doing something naughty but is trying to see if he'll get away with it. He's very strong willed and determined so that is fun and frustrating at times.
Right now his favorite foods are any fruit- (mandarin oranges, cantaloupe, pineapple, watermelon), chicken, sweet potatoes in really any form and pizza! He is a true Pisano who loves Italian food. This kid can throw down some pizza.
He has 7 teeth with 2 on the way. One including a molar that I am SO ready for him to get. Teething has been pretty easy so far but the molars are the first time he's experienced some symptoms of teething that haven't been fun (diaper rash from some nasty teething poop...TMI sorry).
He is close to being done nursing as we've begun the weaning process (I'm going to write a separate post all about that), but I assure you he is ready and is totally fine with it.
He is a mama's boy but loves to shout, "dada, daaaa, DAD!" as soon as Robbie walks in the door. I love seeing his face light up.
He is seriously the sweetest boy and I'm so thankful to be his mama. I'm excited to continue to watch him grow and learn. Happy 11 months sweet boy!!
